The SMoking Addiction Test
Smoking is more than a habit, it is an addiction. The addictive part of a cigarette is the nicotine. After a while you become hooked and get an enjoyable feeling when you smoke. After you quit smoking, your body's nicotine levels decrease quickly, which causes cravings. Nicotine replacement products, such as patches and gums, can help you manage your cravings successfully and are available on prescription.

Oklahama Smokers To Quit Smoking
According to NewsOK, Oklahomans are willing to tackle giving up smoking and losing weight at the same time, according to preliminary results of a survey of smokers using the state’s tobacco help line. "People have weight concerns related to quitting smoking, but they’re still willing to call and get help,” said Laura Beebe, director of the Oklahoma Tobacco Research Center, which conducted the study. "People do want to address both of those concerns at the same time.”
Beebe gave results Thursday to the Oklahoma Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust Fund’s board of directors, which helped fund the study.
"In the past there’s been some mixed literature that had said, ‘No, if you’re going to treat people for tobacco addiction don’t address weight control,’” Beebe said.

Smoking Rate In King County Drops
According to Emax Health, the smoking rate among King County adults as been observed to drop in 2008 to a new low of 10.6%, or 158,000 adults 18 and over. This rate has nearly halved since 2001, when King County began receiving funds to address tobacco from the Master Settlement Agreement between states and tobacco companies. The King County rate remains lower than Washington State's, which dropped to 15.3%.
It sounds a great news, and will be greater if we happen to hear same news for all over the world. Although efforts are being made to control smoking through smoking alternatives like smoking vaporizer etc, but still a lot has to be done. Governments are doing, but we need people to take initiatives themselves, because no change will occur until you try yourself!

E Cigarette: One Good Smoking Alternative
Electronic Cigarette or E Cigarette is one such product. It's a battery-powered device that provides inhaled doses of nicotine by delivering a vaporized liquid nicotine solution. It is an alternative to smoked tobacco products, such as cigarettes, cigars, or pipes. In addition to nicotine delivery, this vapor also provides a flavor and physical sensation similar to that of inhaled tobacco smoke, while no tobacco, smoke, or combustion is actually involved in its operation.

Internal Relaxation: Fourth Reason To Quit Smoking

Fourth is actually one big reason for you to quit smoking. Most of the smokers are addicted to it because they feel relaxation. This external relaxation is actually not worthy. Quitting it will make yo less dependent on external relaxation.
People who use cigarettes as a means to relax, feel good during pressure and tensions. This is not something good, actually they are weakening their own ability to relax. Most people who stop smoking, learn how to deal with stress in other ways, thus making the body work naturally.
Save Money: Third Reason To Stop Smoking

You have been thinking to save money for a long time, but you never succeeded..... IUs it the case with you too?
If yes, and you're a smoker too, your problem is caught right here. You know that smoking is an expensive habit, too. If you smoke 2 packs of cigarettes every day, the monthly expense could amount to hundreds of dollars, and by investing same amount in a saving account, you could go on a fantastic vacation, you can buy a car in a shorter period, you can have a home gym, and much more that you even never thought about.
Think on it, and get a greater life without worrying about debts!
Your Health Matters: Second Reason To Quit Smoking

There's no point to raise I think, if we say so..... You will be healthier for sure!
Smoking promotes diseases, many many..... Lungs Cancer Indigestion, Lungs Infection and blah blah.... Look at the smokers round you and see almost all of them suffer from one or more of the dozens of cancers, vascular disease, heart diseases and lung diseases. Then, why to take yourself to all this... According to researches, the chances for getting lung cancer is 20 times higher for a heavy smoker compared to non-smokers, so think of other diseases spread by this.
To stop it, just make up your mind that Smoking is simply a very un-healthy habit, and you have to live a greater and healthier life!
First Reason To Quit Smoking

The first and the biggest reason to quit smoking in my opinion is that you look younger. Beleive me, people who smoke look older than those who don't. Have a look at some exapmples round you and you'll find the difference yourself. It's a fact!
People who smoke got nicotine stains on their teeth and fingers, their skin looks older, their voice is different and their general physical condition is poor, so making them really older looking. Stopping smoking will knock off 10 years of your age. Quit smoking and see you'll find yourself of 25 if you're 35!
